Instagram has become the first source of inspiration for many millennials and older. My cousin just installed the app today and created her account – she was looking for influencers or smaller accounts to follow and I thought “why not recommend a few of my favorite Instagrammers to my readers?”
Create or upgrade your base of followings with 5 accounts you may not know about. Fashion, lifestyle, beauty inspo, food, and so many more for your scrolling moments.
The London-based owner of this account and blog is one my favorite fashion bloggers. She’s not your regular style contents creator though. She is a genius of elegance and class, the quintessence of bon goût with a heavy twist of playfulness. What I like the best about her Instagram account (because this is what we’re talking about today) is her editorial content: her pictures are always super magazine-worthy. I mean, she is impressively impressive. Her looks are like a dream – you see it, you enjoy it, but you can’t touch it. She appears to have a magic touch, the best of gifts to pick the best pieces in a collection (which are sometimes the most adventurous too) and when she styles them everything suddenly makes sense in the world. She’s the best account to follow if you’re looking for a little (more like huge) uniqueness among the huge ‘grammed ocean of clothes and accessories. You can follow her here.
One of the sweetest girls I’ve ever worked with, Eda is a style blogger too. She’s the American way though: free in how she dresses with a style that she perfectly appropriated. She’s fun, super friendly and has a great sense of not only fashion, but also everything lifestyle. Her adventures are really interesting to follow – from fashion week to escapades, she makes me discover more about the American life. Her style incorporates a lot of vintage influences, which I find extremely interesting – she’s the proof you can mix the old with the new without spending thousands on vintage Chanel or Gucci. Her Instagram and blog were a very fortunate find that allows me to look at fashion differently. Go follow her here, you won’t regret it.
#3 WILLIAMS VERICAIN
For a dive in cool Parisian waters. Loïc, the photographer behind this account is an ex-colleague of mine whose aesthetics is just super cool and fascinating. The talent and vision are innovative, and he’s slowly growing into something really big. He shoots various campaigns and various people, men and women, through a casual and minimalist lens that translates into impactful images. The power remains in the simplicity, yet he manages to make simplicity more vibrant again. Lots of monochromatic, wordings, shots of concrete spaces – well plenty of eye-candy actually. Also, his Instagram story allows you to take an insider look at what happen backstage some less known yet prominent fashion campaigns of the Parisian fashion scene. Pay him a visit and a follow here.
#4 CRYSTAL KO PARIS
Sujung is a young Korean friend who lives in Paris, where she just recently graduated from Fashion School! Because, yes, she’s finally and officially a fashion designer with an eye that brings a refreshing approach of clothing. She’s as good at doing it sleek as doing it experimental and I think she’s very promising. Her aesthetics are the perfect mix of the famous Parisian ‘je-ne-sais-quoi’ and Korean elegance. On Instagram, she can be your guide for a local approach of Paris and France in general as she’s been living there for years now – walks on the docks, cute and historical places, all that while always being fashionable. If you’re looking for a humble place to hang out, her account is the place-to-be – and she’s gonna make big things in fashion anyway so you should start following her here now.
#5 HADIA GHALEB
Reinventing the Arab fashion scene, this Egypt eccentric is a bowl of fresh air in our gravely codified society. Hadia draws an empowering and daring vision of this region, often victim of prejudices and clichés against its women. She’s inventive, colorful, and experimental with fashion the way we like it: free of any spatial form and print. Her account is already super popular, so you may know her already – she also founded a company that provides brands with nice campaigns. She mostly posts looks thus has a very fashion-forward Instagram. She has the perfect account for you if you’re: willing to extend your fashion spectrum to Oriental influencers / love precisely curated outfits / have a thing for princess materials. Check her out here.
